 The innovative multi-angle ball sorter (MABS) from Itoh Denki offers seamless installation and versatile article transfer capabilities at various angles to include 30°, 45°, and 90°. Powered by low voltage 24V DC, the MABS utilizes continuous flow sortation technology, allowing products to smoothly pass over the module while maintaining their conveying speed. Transfers are completed using motor driven rollers, eliminiating the use of pneumatics.
Operating at a line speed of 295 FPM, the MABS unit can convey up to 66 lbs. Its scalability allows for the integration of multiple units, expanding the transfer surface and increasing the weight capacity to 528 lbs. The low profile MABS easily integrates into existing conveyor systems, utilizing innovative Run-on-Demand technology to operate efficiently only when articles are detected. This results in energy-efficient functionality and reduced noise levels.
