Stewart Glapat's groundbreaking invention, the mobile extendable conveyor (MEC), allows one capital investment to be utilized in multiple ways and does not require fixed dock doors and locations. The MEC features two Adjustoveyors, a flatbed truck, catwalk for personnel access, an electrical generator, and an overhead structure that provides protection from adverse weather conditions. Both Adjustoveyors are reversible, allowing for optimal flexibility in loading and unloading.
It is primarily used to unload freight directly from trailers onto sort belts at airport hubs, and can also be utilized to load trailers from drop areas in buildings or directly from the tarmac from aircraft containers.
FEATURES
- Creates an auxiliary truck dock to feed main sort belt

- Overhead structure to protect employees and freight
- Self-contained generator
