    Giving Your Facility a Lift

    - June 02, 2017

    lift tables

Ergonomics—the study of people’s efficiency in their working environment. In today’s warehouse facility, ergonomics and safety play a huge role in the day-to-day operations, becoming increasingly crucial for the efficiency and productivity of the tasks at hand. With that said, a lift table is designed to easily lift, position, and transport product within your distribution center or warehouse facility.

They utilize a hydraulic mechanism to raise, lower or tilt workloads and make that needed height adjustment to allow for ease in movement of product. Lift tables provide a stable platform to consistently transfer goods. In doing so, lift tables provide the necessary relief to the operators tasked with moving these goods and secure their safety. As a result, productivity and dependability increase while injury and labor costs decrease. Lift tables in the industrial environment improve ergonomics by relieving physical strain and potential risk of injury to employees while saving the company costs in labor.

When giving your facility a lift, there are several types of lift tables to consider: mobile scissor, stationary scissor, heavy duty scissor, tilt, and pallet stands and pallet carousel stands.
